MMOEXP: The next game of the Madden NFL 25 launches
Madden 25 coins is scheduled to launch on August 16th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. Xbox One owners with an EA Access membership can start playing the full game now. It took just a few minutes to discover a hilarious bug that makes players berate the air.
In preparation for the forthcoming NFL year, Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is playing video games. After minicamp ended this week, Bridgewater didn't have a team to play with in real life and he resorted to video games. He told ESPN that he ported the Vikings playbook into the Madden NFL game to help him prepare for his first game.
"It is beneficial because you can get one more repetition than you have in practice, or actual exercise," Bridgewater said. "Any chance to perform an extra rep, or go that extra step, the that extra mile, it's going be extremely beneficial in transferring it into on the field."
This isn't a shift in the pace for Bridgewater since he's done similar things in his college, incorporating his Louisville Cardinals' playbook to an upcoming NCAA Football game. As per the ESPN's Ben Goessling, New Orleans QB Drew Brees also uses Madden to prepare for the actual season.
In another game, Minnesota Twins pitcher Johan Santana claims he's utilized MLB The Show to study the patterns of hitters, by playing himself and playing against them, according to an ESPN report.
For Bridgewater The use of Madden as a way to get ready for the actual thing isn't as crazy as it might sound.
"I attempt to do as numerous reps as I possibly can, whether on the video game or doing EA buy madden coins or in the playbook by drawing it out or mentally imagining it," he said. "I strive to maximize each rep and every opportunity I get."
